Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: An Updated Overview
نویسندگان
چکیده
Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, as 2.1 million people were diagnosed with disease and 1.8 passed away from lung worldwide in 2018.[1] The condition split into two sections: Small Cell Cancer (SCLC) Non-Small (NSCLC). In this research paper, I discuss key aspects NSCLC, including risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, epidemiology. Lastly, conclude by outlining ongoing aiming to prevent NSCLC.

Sentinel Node Mapping in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Using an Intraoperative Radiotracer Technique
Objective(s): Lymph node metastases are the most significant prognostic factor in localized non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Identification of the first nodal drainage site (sentinel node) may improve detection of metastatic nodes. Extended surgeries, such as lobectomy or pneumonectomy with lymph node dissection, are among the therapeutic options of higher acceptab...
